Personal Work
Here, you’ll find a showcase of my entrepreneurial ventures, where I’ve blended my technical skills in engineering with my passion for innovation and leadership. From launching Vexcite Bikes, a high-performance electric bicycle startup, to founding Fits, a social media platform designed to streamline fitness journeys, each project reflects my commitment to solving problems and driving growth through creative solutions. Additionally, my work with USC’s Formula SAE team highlights my hands-on experience in engineering and teamwork within a competitive environment.
Key Contributions
Prototype Development:
Collaborated directly with my cofounder to develop two fully functional electric bike prototypes, leveraging my expertise in CAD for design precision and manufacturing coordination to ensure seamless production. I oversaw the end-to-end process, from 3D modeling and design validation to coordinating with suppliers for the fabrication of components like frames and motors. Responsible for the bikes meeting both performance and aesthetic goals while adhering to strict timelines.
Supply Chain Management:
Spearheaded the procurement of key components from international suppliers to meet our high-performance standards. I managed the sourcing of:

-
Motors: High-torque motors up to 5000W for exceptional speed and acceleration.

-
Controllers: Advanced motor controllers with integrated cooling systems for stability.

-
Battery Systems: Long-range batteries providing up to 110 miles per charge.

-
Frame Materials: Lightweight aluminum castings for durability without sacrificing speed.

-
Tires & Suspension: Custom tires (up to 5 inches wide) and advanced suspension systems for a smooth, stable ride.
Marketing Leadership:
Directed our marketing efforts, crafting the brand identity and overseeing digital and social media campaigns, as well as product launches. My strategies significantly increased market visibility and demand for our product.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Managed the integration of product design, engineering documentation, and supply chain logistics, guiding the project from concept through to the development of fully functional, market-ready prototypes.

Vexcite Bikes
Chief Operations Officer
vexcitebikes.com
As the Chief Operations Officer at Vexcite Bikes, I worked alongside a talented engineer to bring a high-performance electric bike to market. From initial concept through production, our 2-person team handled every aspect of the project, from product development to marketing, and supply chain management.
Key Contributions
-
Platform Development:
Conceptualized and co-developed a unique social media platform aimed at destigmatizing daily fashion sharing. Users are encouraged to post daily outfit pictures and tag clothing items, which can be viewed, interacted with, and purchased by others.
-
Market Research & User Feedback:
Conducted surveys and user feedback sessions to refine the platform’s features. Key insights showed that users felt uncomfortable posting regularly on mainstream platforms like Instagram due to social pressure, which informed our decision to remove “likes” and replace them with streaks and style points.
-
User Engagement & Traction:
Built initial traction through an Instagram proof of concept, which gained positive feedback from fashion creators and users. Garnered 100+ early signups and partnered with influencers like Eric Kim to promote the platform to a larger audience.
-
Monetization Strategy:
Developed a sustainable business model, including affiliate links, item sales within the app, and future brand partnerships. This encourages user engagement while generating revenue for the platform.

USC Formula SAE
Business & Engineering Team Member
USC Racing is a student-run team that competes in the international Formula SAE competition, where university teams design, build, and race Formula-style cars. The team integrates engineering innovation with business strategies to create high-performance vehicles for annual competitions.
Key Contributions
Sponsorship & Budget Planning:
Played a role in securing crucial sponsorships, contributing to our team's budget and covering the costs for materials, testing, and competition fees. I worked closely with the business team to ensure financial alignment with our technical needs.

Subsystem Testing & Driver Ergonomics:
Developed and executed testing plans to gather data on vehicle subsystems, such as suspension and brakes, focusing on both reliability and performance. Additionally, I worked on improving driver ergonomics, optimizing seat design and pedal positioning for comfort and control.

Carbon Fiber Manufacturing:
Gained hands-on experience in manufacturing components using carbon fiber layup techniques. This helped reduce vehicle weight, contributing to enhanced speed and overall vehicle performance.
